I just want to thank everyone for all the birthday wishes I got! It was a wonderful day! Patrick made me french toast for breakfast, me and the little lady sat in the sun for awhile just hanging out and then my great grandma baked me a cheesecake for dessert! Plus Esther got me a poopy diaper for my birthday and I really couldn’t have asked for anything better.
Also, thanks to everyone for all the kind words regarding Esther. It is all very much appreciated! Me and Patrick are loving every single second of being parents. We just got back to the apartment today so I am unloading all the gifts and starting to get her little area of the bedroom organized. I’m amazed at how much stuff one little girl can have.
I was going to post a picture with this post.. but as I sat taking pictures of myself It suddenly hit me what I look like. I need to wash my hair and get it out of this mess of a ponytail. I should also maybe throw on some eyeliner. I haven’t looked in a mirror since she was born. Reminder to self.. attempt to take care of you too.
