Edit: Yes we don’t have curtains, and yes we don’t have anything hanging on the walls.. I’ll get to it at some point I’m sure.. time and money are two things we don’t have at the moment. I did get beautiful picture frames for Christmas, so I can’t wait to print out some pictures of Esther and get them up on the wall!
Esther was extremely fussy tonight. I am almost positive its because she had major gas issues. I think its caused because I had to start formula supplementing. We tried everything even gripe water and she still seemed upset. She loves her baths so much that I though we should try that. She was calm and didn’t cry once the whole time she was in it. I have a feeling there will be many nights spent in that tub. When we finally got her out of the bath we gave her a bottle of formula specialy designed for gas and fussiness. She is sound asleep now. I guess it was just one of those nights. Now please excuse me while I take 5 minutes for myself.

I am going out to dinner with the girlfriends and than off to Yuk Yuk’s to see Patrick and Jason Rouse tell hilariously offensive jokes. It should be a good night.
This is only my second night out since Esther was born. I am being a paranoid freak running around making sure she has everything see needs in her diaper bag. I think I packed everything she owns. I just keep saying “I’ll pack this, just in case…”. I know she will be sleeping 70% of the time I’m gone.. but I still don’t like leaving her. I swear I will probably only call like 30498342 times tonight to make sure shes okay. I’m that person.
Everyone is still sleeping, but I have already got up and had breakfast. I should take this time to have a cat nap, but I’m not. Regret this desicion later. I also turned down a babysitter tonight. Am I crazy? Haha.
Esther needs to eat.

I took some photos today. She’s getting so big so fast. I want to remember every little detail. I promise myself I will take a picture of her at least once a day from now on. Plus shes a great model cause shes so damn good looking!
Esther is one month old today. ONE MONTH. Time has never moved more quickly.
Also, is it weird that I don’t think really girly clothes suit my daughter? When I put this outfit on her I burst into giggles. She already has the personality to go against pink and flowers. I’m thinking shes going to be a little like me.. band t shirts and boy cut shorts for the win! Flowers are for sissies!
She has been eating like crazy lately. I’m thinking growth spurt. She just gets cuter and cuter by the second. I could have went to Patrick’s show tonight because we could have had a babysitter but I said no. I would much rather lay in bed with Esther and watch Law and Order. I’m also thinking of baking some midnight cookies. I haven’t done that in forever. Yum.
